Why it matters

Validations are trust receipts.

An AWS Service Delivery validation isn't a logo — it's documented proof that a partner has shipped a specific service in production, repeatedly, against AWS's own bar. Reviewers inspect architecture, operational maturity, security posture, and real customer outcomes.

For customers, that means lower risk: the partner has been audited on the exact workload you're about to run. For partners, it unlocks co-sell motions, funding programs, and access to AWS specialist teams who only engage validated practices.

We've sat on both sides of these reviews. We know which evidence reviewers actually read, which architectures get flagged, and how to defend trade-offs you've already made — without rebuilding your platform to chase a checklist.

Frequently asked

The questions teams actually ask.

What is an AWS Service Delivery validation?

It's AWS's formal review confirming that a partner has repeatedly delivered a specific service (like EKS, Lambda or API Gateway) in production, following AWS best practices. It involves an architecture review, customer references, and a live technical interview with AWS specialists.

How long does the process usually take?

From kickoff to a clean pass, most teams need 6 to 10 weeks. The largest variable is remediation — closing architectural, security and operational gaps before submission. We compress that timeline by reusing patterns we've already proven with other clients.

Do we need to be an AWS Partner already?

Yes — your organization needs an active APN membership and, for most Service Delivery designations, AWS Select Tier or higher. If you're not there yet, we'll help you sequence Foundational Technical Review (FTR) and partner tier progression first.

What happens if we fail the review?

Reviews aren't all-or-nothing. AWS returns specific findings; you remediate and re-submit. We design every engagement so that even a 'soft fail' becomes a focused punch list — not a restart.
